When the organising committee of the 1996 Atlanta Olimpic Games were looking for a supplier for the Finn fleet it was only natural that they should turn to the leader in the market. Tim project managed the definition of the contract, the production process, the shipping to the olympic village, on site commissioning and regatta support for the fleet of 32 Finns. Of course all this happened on-time, to budget and to a quality where the organising committee was confident that the supplied equipment would provide the competitors with a level playing field.

Tim project managed the supply of 60 470's to the organising committee of the 2002 ISAF worlds. This project was run in partnership with Nautivela (Italy). The project covered the definition of the specifications, selection of equipment suppliers, build, shipping, commissioning and regatta support.

Multi-Event Equipment Supply
In the build up to the 2000 Olympics in Sydney many of the sailors in the Finn fleet were faced with huge logistical challenges to compete in the major events approaching the games. To support the sailors Tim
developed a logistics package that delivered and provided on-site support to 27 Finns that were transported to 3 major events (98 Worlds in Greece, 98 Europeans (Portugal) and the 99 Worlds in Australia). These boats were shipped between Click for larger imageevents in 3 containers and then supported on-site

Fleet Supply - Malaysian Navy 470 Fleet
Follow on from the success of the Devoti 470 the Malaysian NAvy were looking for a fleet for their training programme. When Shirley Robertson and her team were looking to gain a performance edge in the Yngling she contacted Tim at Devoti Sailing to see if he could apply their success in the Finn, 470 and Star to yet another Olympic class. As the Yngling can only be built by licensed builders the route forward was for a standard bare Abbot hull to be delivered to Devoti and Tim to lead a team of specialists that were able to optimise the boat for peak performance. A few months later Shirley and her team won gold with a race to spare.
